Looks Like Bonnie Isn't Going Anywhere

Honestly, I'm glad. Two rounds on Craigslist and not a single e-mail. I'm fairly certain this is because here in the Florida panhandle, Grand Marquis models of a similar vintage with 1/3 of the mileage mine has (91k) are readily available, if not plentiful in number. One of my frequent customers at my job has a 2006 with 4k miles. 4k!!

Anyway, it wasn't my idea to list her, it was suggested to me because I could really use the money. But I've become so attached to my Mercury over these past ~8 months and 19k miles (many roadtrips), I'm sure I'll be able to make it financially and I'll be much happier having my trusty Panther along with me for the ride.

The top on looks like a rap album cover.

Maybe, but Bonnie will never be getting big chrome ryyyyuuumms. Most likely some form of 2005-2009 Mustang wheel eventually, Fanblades or Bullitts.

I like the stock ones.

Mainly the angle and the text that made me say that.

Yeah, I took that a few months ago but I probably modeled the edit after some sort of album cover.

I like the stock ones two, but one has some serious curb rash and I think the Mustang wheels add some visual appeal to the car. They at least announce that the person driving isn't on Medicare and AARP.

Haha, yeah. Should throw some P71 steelies on it. Now that'd be cool.

Hahaha when I realized that I could have done that very easily if I had gotten a GS I was kicking myself. They have the same steelies as P71 Vics, but with full hubcaps instead of the chrome caps over the lugs. Could have just swapped that out and I'd look like an undercover cop. However, of course, I wanted all the bells and whistles, so I got an LS...quite fragile bells and whistles I must say. (strokes $600 remanufactured automatic climate control unit carefully)

As long as you are happy with what ever you do with her what more can I say?

Ever thought of Ubering? The car is actually ideal for that...

The first ones are fine, but the second ones look really inappropriate on the car. Maybe it's just me.
